I'm pretty new to building modules, so this may be obvious, but how do i set the user control that loads first when visiting a page where I've added my module? For example, if I build a module with three user controls
- Login.ascx
- UserAdmin.ascx
- Settings.ascx

If I've added this module to the home page, how do I assure that when the home page loads the Login.ascx control of this module is the first to load, rather than UserAdmin.ascx?

Thanks

The module's default view control must have its ControlKey value left empty when setting up its module definition either through the module's dnn manifest or through its configuration in Host --> Extensions.

Ah-ha, thanks Bill!

I just took over a DNN project and I'm seeing some modules have .dnn manifest files, but others don't. It seems the best practice would be to include the manifest file so there's less required configuration after installing the module - right?
