I'm not sure why it's happening but back up your web.config file, open it and remove the line in question. This solved a similar problem I was have a while back during an upgrade.

Hi,
I see on your post this information :
Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.4214; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.4209
And it seem you speak about upgrading dnn 6.0.x to the last 6.1.4
Refering to this tread :
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/F...
"For DotNetNuke 5.2.0 or higher the minimum requirments are .net 3.5SP1 and SQL 2005 (express or full product)"

So change the .Net version on your application pool to 3.5 and retry.

ASP.Net 3.5 uses same code as .Net 2.0, therefore .Net 2.0 is displayed. In your case, the error hints to an issue with Telerik installation. I suggest restoring previous files and redo the upgrade. Make sure to unblock downloaded upgrade zip before extracting files and grant full file system permission to ASP.net account.
