hm, there seems to be an issue calling membership provider. are there issues with some user accounts?

I can't access any of the site after the final upgrade step to 6.1.4.

I've just tried it again, but having first stripped out modules that the upgrades didn't like.

It seemed to run much smoother, not a single problem appearing until I did the upgrade from 5.6.7 to 6.1.4 (presuming stepping to 6.1.3 isn't required first).

When I've done that last one it again had the errors as before and the Update said:

 The same error is appearing on the 2nd test update site http://update2.accountantscircle.co.uk so I can't get any further info. :-(

Any ideas, clues, thoughts?

One thing I've just noticed is the DDRMenu I have installed on 4.9.5 is actually v0.9.3, not v2.0.1.  It's no flagged in the Modules/Extensions list with an upgrade available so I never noticed it before.

Will upgrade this first and then see how it goes.

Dave,

That's it! I recall seeing somewhere that if you have a version of DDR Menu prior to v 2.0.0 installed you MUST upgrade to DDR 2.0.0 BEFORE upgrading the DNN framework to version 6.x. I just did a Google search and found this confirmation:
