We moved our servers from one colo to another - the servers have several DNN sitess running IIS 6 and MS SQL Server 2005.  We changed the IP addresses on the sites and all the sites came up except for one....It just says it has a runtime error.   The event log on the hosting server says:

Exception type: SqlException

Exception message: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

I have tested the connection to the SQL server over and over and it is connecting to the DB.  The SQL logs  show no login errors and there is an indication that the hosting server is connecting to this site.   We even restored both the site in IIS and the Database from the previous days backup.

Anyone have any ideas of where to look next.  I am certain the connection string is correct.  The only thing that has changed is the public ip address of the hosting server.

make sure, you have TCP/IP protokoll enabled for both, server and client.
