I have had some trouble working with localization and I may have been chasing my tail. I did a simple test on an asp calendar which I seen in this video: http://www.asp.net/web-forms/videos/how-do-i/how-do-i-create-a-multi-lingual-site-with-localization

I change the language preferred language in the browser (IE and FireFox) but the calendar does nothing; it just stays in English.

Could it be because I am using VWD? I know that VWD doesn't have the 'Generate Local Resources' menu command.

I have also tried adding this to web.config: <globalization culture="auto" uiCulture="auto" enableClientBasedCulture="true" requestEncoding="UTF-8" responseEncoding="UTF-8" fileEncoding="UTF-8" />

I have checked 'Enable Browser Language Detection' on the admin languages page.

Added another language and checked it as 'Enabled'.

Did I break something?

Fixed it. I had to change settings in IIS Globalization. Also, you have to have to create a language on the DNN site AND click it's flag when yo go to the web site. Now the date picker will auto localize but still having trouble with localizing a details view.
