Recently updated from 5.4.2 to 5.6.7. After the upgrade I am seeing several Exceptions in the Event Viewer, these exceptions are:

Page Load, Module Load and General Exception. Most of these exceptions show something along the lines of:

"The file '/Resources/yourpage.aspx' does not exist".  this is common across all portals.

Does anyone have a suggestion of where to start? I literally have 100+ exceptions listed in Event viewer.

Thanks

Also

Now I find myself having to upload the same content several times. Uploading is slow! After uploading it shows on the backend, but when I logout it does not show on the front end. log back in, updates show on back end, log out nothing, log in again, then log out again and my updates are now present.

Thanks

Doesn't appear that anyone has advice to offer. I'm wondering if someone is out there that may be able to assist if services were payed for.

This DNN install only has charity organizations installed on it, I would love to get their sites stable.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

most likely there was an isssue when uploading files from the install or upgrade package to the server. I suggest downloading latest upgrade package (DNN 6.1.5), make sure to unblock it before uploading all files, overwriting existing ones. Please ensure as well that the Windows account used by ASP.net (as specified in the Application Pool o your site) has full permissions for the DNN install directory and all subfolders and files inside.

Thanks Sebastien,

To clarify, this issue already existed in 5.4.2. Per the suggestion of DNN forum members I did the three step upgrade to 5.6.7 hoping this would eliminate the problem. Unfortunately the problem still exists.

All sites ran exceptionally well on 5.4.2 for well over a year, then suddenly for no reason (or none that we can find) these exception errors started appearing. I am also unable to delete any unwanted portal that we used for testing purposes. Sites take longer than average to load. Also, sometimes it takes 4-5 times for content to actually load to front end of website. It will show on back end but not transpose to front end.

I cleared the Event log last night (late) and checking this morning I have 60+ exception errors (Page/General)

This DNN install runs charity websites only. I am hoping that I can get this stable again for these charitable organizations.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
