For one of my sites, I was running 6.0.2 and when I switched the admin skin from DarkKnight to "MinimalExtropy LeftMenu 1024" I got the error below (or very similar). I tried upgrading to to DNN 6.1.5 hoping it would resolve the error but it's still there.

I dug into the code and if I comment out line 1068, everything works properly. The problem was that SelectedPathHeaderItemImage was null.

So, line 1066 should be:

if ((SelectedPathHeaderItemImage != string.Empty && SelectedPathHeaderItemImage != null))

rather than

if ((SelectedPathHeaderItemImage != string.Empty))
