What exactly are you wanting to do with the audio file? Make it available for download on a page?

You'll need to make sure you've allowed the audio file type in the "Allowable File Extensions" setting that can be found in the host menu under the "Other" settings tab. Then you can upload it to your site and do whatever you need to do with it.

Thank you Justin.

This audio file is basically acts as a narration to the content of the web page. User don't need to download it.

I added MP3 to the "Allowable File Extensions" setting, but still I am unable to do it. In the Edit Content Window, I don't have Media Player option.

I am assuming that I might not have the required module for it. Is that possible and if it is, can you please tell me what module should I have to enable uploading Audio?

You need an module to play audio.  It can be one of the known player eg. flash, javascript player, or any other player.  Other Players needs that the browser had installed an plugin on the users Browser to use it. ( e.g. Media Player, Real Player and others).

I am not sure but it could be the DNN Media module supports singe file audio http://dnnmedia.codeplex.com
