Can someone point to me how I can change the black background colort in the menu to another color?  This skin is good for my project but I need to change the color to the blue gradient as the older vetrsion.

I am new at the skinning so please share with me which file and what I need to altetr to obtain the needed results.  Thanks in advbance.

The main menu item background is an image, so you'll need to modify the image for that. There are several files you'll need to modify. "rootItemL.png", "rootItemR.png" and if you want to change what the hover looks like you'll need to adjust the "rootItemL_Hover.png" and "rootItemR_Hover.png" files.

All these files can be found in the Portals/_default/Skins/DarkKnight/DNNStandard/Images folder

Thanks for the suggestions, the suggested files will change the actual buttons for the menu options but I do see a file that will just change the background of the menu.

I have found out that to change the menu background color you need to change the images Header-BG.png and Header-BG-Variable.png found in \\..\portals\_default\skins\Darknight\Images folder.

I used paintbrush to change the colors using the option to fill with color.
