Thanks to DNN I can now say I can create a website on my own.

I have created this website for a charity organization www.owof.in

All was fine till yesterday, when I installed YAF.

Now, nobody is able to register, even from superuser account i am not able to add any new user. No matter what char length I use, its giving me a regular error as below:

"Invalid:Letters and numbers only (no spaces), must be 5 characters long."

On searching your website, I found a similar with a previous version "DNN-17389 - Error message - "user name must be 5 characters long" does not disappear" on the page http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project... 

Please help me with a solution.

Hi Sebastian,

Actually, its throwing up error for any user name, regardless of the character length. I am not even sure if its because of yaf or not.

I will probably try restoring backup and check it out.

Hi all,

I reinstalled DNN and registration works fine. As I doubted, the problem cropped up after I installed yaf.

If anyone is able to find a solution, do inform me. I liked yaf anyway.
