Hello,

I've been trying to fix what appears to be a bug. At least that's the only explanation for me at this point. Can anybody help me to confirm this?

When I surf to mywebsite.com/Login.aspx I get the login page correctly but when the url contains querystring parameters like this: mywebsite.com/Login.aspx?examplearg=examplevalue I get a 404 error.

I've tested this with several DNN sites and everytime it's the same.

Some advice?

Thanks.

odd, I've just tested it on dotnetnuke.com/Login.aspx?examplearg=examplevalue and with a local 6.2.0 build I have an it works fine on both - can you please check with a http proxy such as fiddler and see where it goes in case there is a redirect happening caused by something else e.g. ifinity module

yeah odd, tell me about it.

I've noticed two additional things:

IIS logs gets a hit to this:

default.aspx?tabid=86examplearg=examplevalue

See? The missing ampersand?

But the most weird thing is (oh yeah there's more)... it only happens when I try to access the site from the Internet. Inside my LAN it works fine.

Anoybody can help me with this? Maybe some troubleshooting tips?

Oh by the way, I'm using https on that page. I tried to disable it but no luck.

Thanks

i would recommend copying the site to your local machijne and running it as a localhost -it's possible that a network device such as a loadbalancer/proxy is causing the issue - alternatively an incorrectly setup rewriter such as urlrewrite could cause this. I've searched gemini and cannot find another example of this issue so it looks localized to your environment.

Hiya. Just experienced the same issue on rpho.captise.nl
Looks like the language parameter is acting strange.
It will do stuff like

http://rpho.captise.nl/nl-nl/concerten.aspx

Instead of

http://rpho.captise.nl/language/nl-nl/concerten.aspx

Any ideas on what might be causing this?
