Hello,

There are some bugs in document module:

When I try to set up the visibility of column by using Documents Module Settings all most time it raise the following message:

Error: Documents is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: index ---> System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: index at System.Web.UI.ControlCollection.get_Item(Int32 index) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.Document.grdDocuments_ItemCreated(Object sender, DataGridItemEventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

This message seems to infor that I made a mistake when input ordering data, but I only use very small integer value (1,2,3,4).

Pls check this.

From the error message, it looks like the error happens in the code that generates the document columns (and would not be caused by your input data).  Which columns do you have selected as "visible"?

Hi,

I also am experiencing issues with this module in a new 4.3 installation.

Logged in as host - uploaded the repository module doc file. It did not appear in the list

Repeated two more times - still not shown.

Assume it might be another FF issue - so log in as member of different group (with edit/view permissions on the module, using IE6. Get 3 entries each telling me that 'An error has occurred - documents is currently unavailable.

Logout and in as host from IE6 - documents list is again empty.

NB I am only displaying title and link.

Hope this helps.

Might be similar issues to those reported under Repository ???.

Thanks

graham

Can you view your site log (Admin->Log Viewer) and post the full error text?

Hello,

Just to let you know, probably similar bug but in DNN 3.3.0 version:

Error: Edit Documents is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count. ---> System.ArgumentException: Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count. at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.AssignParameterValues(SqlParameter[] commandParameters, Object[] parameterValues) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteScalar(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.SqlDataProvider.AddDocument(Int32 ModuleId, String Title, String URL, Int32 UserId, Int32 OwnedByUserID, String Category, Int32 SortOrderIndex, String Description) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.DocumentController.AddDocument(DocumentInfo objDocument) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Documents.EditDocs.cmdUpdate_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

- I've selected only the default columns as visible.
- I tried both adding sort order "sort index" and not adding it. In both cases the error apears when you start adding a new document.

Hope you'll be able to fix this.

Thanks.
Fwsmaster
