Hi I wonder if anyone can help me.
I am trying to setup the smtp settings to send messages from the site but I cannot seem to get the correct settings for Google Apps powered email. For normal settings I'd have the host email the same as the smtp setting ie host email = abd@abcd.com and the smtp settings would be smtp.abcd.com password = email account password but....
When I try to set up with emails going through Google Apps their smtp setting for Outlook etc is set at smtp.gmail.com
Each time I attempt to send a test message I get an undeliverable message report.
Can anyone help?  The site is DNN6.1.2(98)

Hi, you should be able to use the following settings:

Host email, set to a valid google apps email address.

SMTP settings:
host: smtp.gmail.com:587
SMTP authentication: basic
Enable SSL
Username: full email address of a google apps account
Password: set to the above google apps account

I was trying to set this up also, but I was using the wrong port! Thanks for your help. You saved me a lot of time!!
