I would like to implement a forum bot, It's dutty's would be starting a new thread and reporting the right url back to the module that requested the new thread.

Now I was wondering, should I try and use the new event system in 4.3 to try and implement this asynchronous? Or should i just write a controller class that does this job syncronously?

Is it possible to set up a forum where all my user can reply to the threads started by the bot, but not start new threads themselves?

Wich forum controller classes should I lok at to accomplish this? are there any gotcha's I should be aware of before starting this project?

All who will answer, thanks for brainstorming with me :)

I would use inter module communication, not the new event queue system.

Currently, there is no way to allow someone to reply to a thread but not start one.

If you are just trying to start new threads programatically, look at the ThreadController.vb and the other thread classes.
