How do you get rid of the default setting to send notifications to users about their security role. I go to Security Roles -> Choose any random role and click Manage Users -> Uncheck the Send Notifcations box .... but there is no place to click update. If I exit the module or click cancel at this point and come back here the Send Notifcation box is ticked off again. How do I keep it permanently unchecked? I don't want my site sending users emails about their security role -- I want to hide this info from users.

there is no default for send notifications. this setting is just being used for the current changes you make within the module. A general switch has been requested in Gemini as has been triaged atm for DNN 7 AFAIR.
