Couple things here. First, this is not a bug and you must be doing something wrong. I am not sure what it is you are doing wrong but look through the posts for the last 5 days in this forum and you will see me answering this permissions things a couple times. (Sorry, no link nor time to find it). Please review the original General Discussion forum created in Edit Forum to see its settings.

Another thing is there is a pinned post which says Anonymous posting is not supported.

I hate to make it seem I am singling you out, and I don't mind answering questions even a few times but please put forth a little effort to read previous threads for at least the last week and those that are pinned.

I did read previous posts of others with the same problem.  THe option of just enabling EDIT on the module for everybody isn't a good solution since it allows the editing of the module title as a byproduct (not desirable).

In the other posts where users were complaining of the same problem, I saw NO solution posted other than the non-viable workaround you just suggested.

If you read other posts then you would know that I have said over and over again that we are not changing this module to solve this problem. I feel this is a core problem and have said that for several months now sorry to sound this way but if you don't like it don't use the module or modify the source code. However, you obviously missed the post that is pinned on anonymous postings.

Did I read that correctly?  Did you basically just say that if we don't like the "deficiencies" in the module, then too bad?

I thought that one of the benefits of these community supported products was the direct line of communication with the developers and the fast and nimble ability to quickly implement fixes.

I wasn't expecting a heavy handed response like "if you don't like it then just don't use it".  Very disappointing.

Disappointed or not this module has always followed the lead of the community. For ages I have said this is a problem and it is a core problem. So since this is a core problem because the core needs to add a check for this edit title in the skin object, then i hardly would say that you read that correctly. So be disappointed or whatever it is you feel, I and this team have always implemented fixes which were problems with the module itself.
