Good Morning,

The skin on this site is in dire need of a rewrite.  I've framed out most of the skin using DIVs but am unsure how to handle the background images which is visible on either side, as well as the separate background image for the main content section of the skin.  The old skin calls class tblMain in the wrapper table of the skin, which points to the winter background scene.  I in turn called the same class in my wrapper DIV.

A few lines into the existing skin, an inner table is created using class CamoBG.  This provides the background for the content area of the page.  How should I situate this class in the new skin?  Should it be a second wrapper DIV?  Since it only is really used int the logo and headerpane DIVs, should it wrap those only?

Thanks much for any advice / guidance.

I always tell a co-worker to start by breaking it down into the simplest boxes. So start with one div for everything to go in, then, since your whole page is just that 1000px wide table, i'd make that another div inside your first one. Then the top part with the logo and camo will be a div inside the others and your content will be a div right below that one. So here is an idea, you could change the class names to whatever you like but they should make sense.

<div class="Skin">
    <div class="PageWrapper">
        <div class="Header"></div>
        <div class="Content"></div>
        <div class="Footer"></div>
    </div>
</div>

 Skin would be the entire page with you background image. PageWrapper would be the overall content and white background with the shadows on the side. Header would be your logo and camo background. Content would be all your content. And footer would be all those links you have at the bottom.
