I have been trying to follow along with tutorial on how to develop modules using Visual C# 2010 Express and Visual Basic 2010 Express.  I downloaded and installed the MSBuild Community Tasks project and the module templates from Codeplex.  When I go to create a new project 1) I dont get to say where I want to save to module to 2) I get an error saying that the project type is not supported by this installation.  I assume this is because I am using the express editions and not the full blown VS Suite?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!!

unfortunately in those versions many of the templates dont work (I beleive this restriction will go with the 2012 versions when they come out later this year), so you will have to develop in a different way - many people use other templates (such as those from mygeneration) or utilities such as dnnbuilda, but I'd recommend having a look at the starterkit templates (http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/releas...) - they're not as comprehensive as the ones you're trying to use (i.e no msbuild for packaging) but they do work in all editions - i cant find any recent blogs/articles but the following whilst old should be useful
