Hi All,

  I have implemented dnn 6.2 on a site and am working with the UX guidelines in trying to implement the datepicker.:

<dnn:DnnDatePicker runat="server" ID="dpSemStart" CssClass="dnnFormInput dnnFormRequired" MinDate="1/1/1940" DisplayDateFormat="MM/dd/yyyy" DateFormat="MM/dd/yyyy" />

 When I run it out of the box, the text has an element-level style to it of "color:transparent" (I forced it to render black through css), but it also ignores all date formatting and outputs date as : 2012-05-05-00-00-00", except when the datepicker textbox is selected and the date is displayed as MM/dd/yyyy.

I dropped the same datepicker code into a dnn 6.1.5 instance and it works swimmingly out of the box.

Any thoughts?

I think this is a bug introduced with DNN 6.2. I have seen the same problem when using the Chrome browser. Are you using Chrome too?

Yeah, I was using Chrome, but the date format issue appears in Firefox too.  I haven't tested it out in IE.  I thought maybe the issue came from the Telerik.UI assembly used in 6.2 as everything worked well in 6.1.5, which has a different Telerik version.  I dunno.  Just putting it out there.
