Hello all,

When ever I try to inject the script in query string, cookies or any control value then DNN redirects me to error page stating in address bar regarding the malicious request encountered.

I want to know how DNN is doing that and how reliable it it and what other things should be done to make the site secure.

im not sure it is DotNetNuke doing this for you but perhaps your browser or/and a browser helper (e.g. if you're using firefox then noscript). DotNetNuke does contain input filtering logic but only in places where the user actually enters information - in other places such as request headers, where we use them (e.g. the sitelog) we simply htmlencode the information rather than throw an exception
