I need to create a large number of calendars programatically and I cannot see anywhere in the database where the selection of multiple categories for a calendar can be stored.  I thought TabModuleSettings but there is nothing for Events there?

Hi Richard,

The filter settings for the calendar are stored in the ModuleSettings table - the module doesn't use TabModuleSettings. They key is ModuleCategoryIDs. Of course these must exist in the EventsCategory table.

Thanks Roger

I can see ModuleCategoryIDs but now I find the value is -1 and I can't see how to affect it by changing events settings.  If three categories should be selected, how do these get stored?  Could be a bit map or separate ModuleCategoryIDs?

Hi Richard,

-1 means all Categories. Just add a comma seperated list of CategoryIDs. This is controlled by the 'Filter Events by Category' setting in module settings.
