I'm using DNN 4.3.0.
I'm using IE 6.0.29


I'm trying to set some users to use the blogs.

I added the blogs module, then added it to a page.

Next, I logged in as host (superuser) and I chose Admin, Security Roles.

Next, I chose Add New Role and entered bloggers as the role name.

bloggers appeared on the Security Roles list.

next, I clicked on Manage Users in Role: bloggers

When I try to select another user besides Administrator Account (the default value in the pulldown) from the pulldown menu, the page appears to refresh, and the Administrator Account is again selected in the pulldown. In other words, I can't select anything in the pulldown but the Administrator Account. If I press the add user button, it adds the Administrator Account to the role.

It seems to me like a javascript problem with that page more than anything, because as soon as I select anything besides Administrator Account the page refreshes.

Any ideas?

Instead of going into Roles you can go into the users properties and add the user to the role you want. That seems to work.

Select User Accounts from the Admin menu.
