Does anyone have any tips for including Camtasia SWF tutorials in a DNN site?  So far, the only way I've gotten them to work is to use an IFRAME or link to the html file.  However, I need to use the full path to the file for the videos to display properly.

(I can't choose File from site as the option...I have to use URL and manually enter the path for the file.)

I haven't played with it in DNN, but I've used camtasia output in a CMS learning management tool my university uses.

I also had the same problem, and needed to basically use an iframe. I think the problem is that the flash controller camtasia creates looks for the video file in the same folder as the page where it's embedded.

You might try checking with the camtasia folks to see if there's a way around that... I'd be interested in the answer as well.

Just a follow-up here...

I took one of my old lectures and tried it in DNN's media module and that worked. The only thing is that I made those lectures as swf output and not mp4. So, the whole thing is in one swf file. In the media module, I just pointed it to the swf file and it worked just fine.

Maybe you could try that...

Thanks, Mike. That's what I needed to do (custom output and create a single SWF file).

Hi,

Check out digFlash.  It's free and lets you easily play a swf on a DNN page.

Thanks

Mike
