I see that a lot of questions is asked and replied in Community Exchange. Instead of the forums.

I fail to see the reason for that because now we have to search in two areas for answers. That takes power away from the Forums.

thanks.

The community team at DNN corp. prefers issues to be handled in the Community Exchange module instead of the forums, which they prefer to be be used for all other discussion. Unfortunately, the Community Exchange module does not include same notification options atm.

My initial thought was that the Community Exchange was to be more of a knowledge base of "how do I...do something" type questions that are answered and voted up/down to yield the best answers, and the forums would remain for issues / problems. But I guess DNN Corp has other ideas.

Well personally i find the way community exchange works ugly. Same goes for other similar applications on the web.

Maybe it is just me.

Could you explain how the forum have issues/problem with "vote up/down"? I think forum can do it easily.
