At my site it's also working.

Great news...my fix worked!!  I can confirm now that Google has definitely crawled many pages with the googlebot and the error no longer appears.

Specifically which of the two fixes you mentioned worked?

BTW If you don't want to wait around for Googlebot to scan your site you can emulate all the Bot's on demand using this website:

Can I also add two things I've noticed when testing what that utility I just mentioned.

1. If I modify the URL's I'm pointing it at to the non-friendly version (but with no change to the friendly URL setting on the DNN site) it works fine.

2. There seems to be some caching component to this as I don't always get the same result. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't (mostly it doesn't though). I haven't determined the pattern dictating this though.

It seems to fix it also on my site. I guess I made a mistake when I tested it the first time. OK, that is one less to worry about. Now the rest...

it's a problem with asp.net 2.0 urlrewriting and google/yahoo's spiders. We've already checked in the change for 4.3.2 . Google have noticed it http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/asp-net-2-and-url-rewriting-sometimes-harmful/ , so hopefully they'll tweak their spider accordingly.
