Just wondering if DNN will be able to support 1000 domains (parent not child domains)  with single codebase.

Has anyone had success with this many domains. Any suggestions or insights will be appreciated.

What would be the hardware we should be looking at.

All of my clients may not have very many customers but just like to have web presence as it is becoming a necessity today to be competetive.

Thanks.

yes, it will support this. I've known of users to have many thousand portals - dotnetnuke does not handle child/parent portals any differently so the type is academic. However you will need good resources as the tables grow the joins require more effort so it doesnt scale linearly - i advise you to test before you deploy as the requierments will depend on many factors (number of portals, number of roles, number of users, number of extensions)
