Hi Will,

Where have you gone in this thread? You were quick to tell me I was doing somthing wrong.

Is DNN Corp prepared to stand by the product and provide help to correct the databases broken by these upgrades?

If not, is it prepared to allow us the information that will help us to fix our own databases?

No? So we are abandoned because we are too small to matter?

Best wishes,

Hey Richard:

Sadly I have been mostly out of pocket due to preparing for and attending DNN World, and then a much overdue vacation.  Sorry I couldn't get back to this thread until now.

Do you have a backup of your site that you can make available and duplicate the issue?  If so, we can create a gemini issue and get this looked at.

Will,

I can't do that, this is a customer's DB and there are a lot of user data in it. Not that I don't trust you, but it's against any policy.

What I can offer you is showing you what happens in a Skype/TeamViewer/... session. Send me an email to the address I'm registerd here.

Best wishes
Michael

Hi Will,

I can send you a site/db you can use. I have several that are broken. Where would you like it?

There is a Gemini issue already. I failed to upload the DB as an attachment, probably too big.

I raised it, more info was asked for, I gave it, Cathal asked me to run some SQL scripts. They seemed to confirm that the database was broken. There it stopped.

There was a bit of conversation on Community Exchange.

It looks like there are a few of us all bitten in some way by this.  We all seem to be looking for hacks that mask it or workaround it.  You can bet that if there are ten who report it there will be a hundred who remain silent.

Best wishes,

Richard:

I replied to your gemini issue.

All:

This conversation should be continued there since an issue is open.
