I have been hosting at arvixe and running into app pool issues (links below) and keeping the performance of my site in mind for future purposes as the visitors and the portals keep growing (I would like to be ready for running about 1000 parent portals from single codebase):

1. I was wondering if Azure would be the way to go or not?

2. Is DNN and Azure are there really?

3. How about Dotnetnuke.com is this on Azure or not?

4. Will it be nice to have a separate forum for Azure users?

5. Are the DNN core modules ready for Azure?

6. Any links where we can find pricing info with Azure?

7. Any personal opinions or recomendations if we should go this path or not?

The reason i am thinking that Azure may help me and more suitable is as the number of users and portals grow in my dnn the capacity can be increased in Azure without easily is my understanding  unlike any migrations from shared to dedicated servers or higher plan servers we may otherwise have with servers.

Any insights will be really appreciated.

Thanks.
