There's a way to know the current language in a HTML Module (DNN 6.2.1 CE)?

I want to use a jquery script to Hide/Show text base on actual language, this to avoid installing new modules for localization and changing my actual pages.

If isn't possible can you provide the best/easy way to change content of an HTML module based on actual language?

Thank for any hints..

ooohh, I' ve try this and it works for my needs ( I'm just parsing in an easy way the actual url page):

<script type="text/javascript" >
$(document).ready(function() {
var pathname = window.location.pathname;
if (pathname.toLowerCase().indexOf("en-us") >= 0)
{
$("#mytext").html("Hi all!");
}
});
</script>
<div id="mytext"> Ciao a tutti! </div>

It works for me!

this will work only, if language param is included in URL and might not be part of initial url, when opening your site from a link (w/o language param included) or directly entered URL in address bar.

You are right. Have do a little modify and it works almost in any case:

<script type="text/javascript" >
jQuery(document).ready(function() {
var pathname = window.location.pathname;
var lan = jQuery('html').attr('lang');
if (pathname.toLowerCase().indexOf("en-us") >= 0 || lan.toLowerCase() == "en-us")
{
jQuery("#home_head").html("Hi all!");
}
});
</script>
<p id="home_head">Ciao a tutti!</p>

If you find other issues with this, please let me know..

Thank you
