In my custum module I wish to detect new user registration and set one of custom user properties to new value.
(oid, TimeStamp, random number...)
Can somebody give me some guidence how to acomplished this.

If this can't be done with custom module is there any other way than change source code of DotNetNuke?
(provider, schedule,...)

Regards,
Jernej

Frustrating there are no events in DNN that can easily be triggered BUT...

If what you want to achieve is the one of setting of custom user properties - you could possibly try placing a custom module on a page that gets redirected to after the user completes the registration page .

NOTE however - the user may or may not be actually logged in at this stage depending on how your user settings are configured - and the version of dnn you are working with.
