Hello All,

I know there are some sites that offer paid KeepAlive facilities, but I presume there is no reason why we cannot have a keep alive that runs on a home PC or second server and just pings a selection of sites once every 5 mins or so.

If so, do we know if anyone has such a module / code snippit that is shared with the community?

Thanks

 Mark

You can create a small windows app written in VB.NET that runs every 15 minutes, loads the website and then closes. That would keep the site alive.

DotNetNuke has something simply that refreshes the web application but does not update logs.
The page is refreshed every (n) minutes

/Keepalive.aspx

e.g

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/keepalive.aspx

This is fast a effective.
