Hi all,

I am trying to install a module but keep getting an error. After selecting the zip file from my PC and selecting next, the installer uploads the zip file then throws up the following error:

Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.

I am running DNN 06.01.03 (108)

Any advice help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Rod

Hi Rod

I think that module was compressed by some unsupported compression algorithm (e.g. rar). Try unzip your module in windows explorer, and then create new zip archive using default Windows zip utility (Send To->Compressed zip folder)

Thanks for your post. My Tech has actually fixed the issue although we are not quite clear what the actual problem was. The module eventually installed after we changed a number of host settings.

Thanks
