Hi,

Totally new to the awesome DNN 6.2 and so far i'm loving the Social features available.

I have a page where I have added the Member Directory, however when the module is displayed to the user, it also shows the Admin and Host account names as part of the Members' list. My question is how can I prevent these 2 accounts from being shown to the public? In the Member Directory all I want to show are the general users and not the admin or super admin users. Is this possible? Please advise

Thanks,
Wasim

Since the version of DNN we are using (6.2) is dictated by the limitations of our hardware, I find myself responding to old posts! So, in the hope that others in my situation will benefit from my frustration, I continue to post my own solutions. I, too, created a membership page and was disappointed by seeing the superuser and host show on this page. Since we are using active directory to log in our users, I have the luxury of preventing the user from ever viewing or editing their profile. I edited the member directory template to display only the image, FN, LN, location, email and phone number information (all pulled from AD). To eliminate the superuser and host accounts, I devised my own hack. I selected a profile property that I do not use, and entered 'user' in every profile except the super user and host. Then in the member directory, I filtered by that profile property and set the value to 'user'. Worked like a charm! I realize this won't work for everyone, but it sure worked for me.
