Hey Peeps,

We are busy setting up and configuring an online site which works great. However, I need to have the online version onto my local machine to test my modules without having to disrupt any possible user that is currently using the site online.

What I have done is copied the entire site with all the directories and files and copied it to my local machine, made a backup of the database and restored it onto my local instance of SQL Server. When I open the site on my local machine, it displays all the data and content but the actual style is missing. How can I go about fixing the local copy so that it displays the same as the online version?

most likely, there are folders missing permission for anonymous users (especially, if images are missing as well). another issue could be broken references, if you local installation is not located in the root of the IIS web site.

Cheers from Germany,
