I have a situation where certain Roles should have access to upload / delete / modify (CRUD) files in certain folders. I used the permissions in the FileManager, assigned permissions to the specified Roles. Then I added the FileManager module to a page that these users had access to.

They see the file manager, but all the buttons on the top are grayed out. They cannot upload, rename, move, delete files...etc.

Any suggestions?

Ok, I figured out that you have to also give the right permissions to the module itself, in addition to the folders inside the module. So now the buttons are useable for the users.

Thanks anyway! :-)
