I’m developing a custom module using VS2010 and DNN 6.1.5 CommunityEdition.

I want to use some of the web controls including DnnTabStripand DnnTab. When I went to add these controls to my VS2010 Toolbox I discovered there are 2 versions of them in different dll’s and namespaces, e.g.:

Control Name

NameSpace

Assembly

Version

DnnTabStrip

DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls

DotNetNuke.WebControls.dll

2.4.0.598

DnnTabStrip

DotNetNuke.Web.UI.WebControls

DotNetNuke.Web.dll

6.1.5.142

Is there any difference between the controls in the 2different dll’s, and if so which dll should I be using?

Thanks in advance
