Hi.

I have been trying to get userid in the member directory but have so far been unsuccessful. On advice I have tried MeberId used like this

data-bind="attr: { title: MemberId}

However I get a Javascript error saying the binding is unknown.

Second I was wondering if someone could tell me about knockout syntax. I am trying to make a link with the userid in it. I could do this with an HTML module like so. http://mysite.com/profile?userid=[Users:UserId]

In the case of the member directory, I have seen examples of data binding attributes but so far have not seen how one might concatenate using knockout to produce the link above.

Thanks for the help

Mark

Mark, You would need to use the UserId attribute.

If you wanted to add it to a span you could do it like

<span data-bind="text: UserId"></span>

Thanks, that worked. I guess I was using 'userId' in previous attempts and got some advice from there to use MemberId.

Also I had not though about just using a text attr of a span to concatenate. Seems simple once you know.

Cheers now I can get on with my dev!
