Hi All,

We have moved a 5.4.4 DNN installation from a Windows 2003/IIS 6 server to a Windows 2008/IIS 7.5 server. I have been unable to get the Active Directory authentication to work(I get the user name and password don't match error). I updated the authentication module to 5.0.3 just now. Same problem.

I have usually set up the module with a non-existent domain\username configuration with no ill effects. I tried setting the module up with my personal credentials and got an "Unable to validate data" error on the WindowsSignin.aspx page.

The Active Directory users guide says to disable all security options except integrated Windows authentication for the WindowsSignin.aspx file. However, IIS has those features locked due to the forms authentication mode specified in the web.config file.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - I have 200 teachers that came back to work today and want to edit their web sites!

Thanks,
Jerry
