All,

I'm in need of a module that displays thumbnails of employees based on department.  So if I'm on the marketing intranet website, the module will be added to the page, grab the profile images for all marketing employees and display them.

That part is easy.  What I don't know is how to create the module for re-use by allowing the admin to select the department under the settings from a pre-populated drop down list of all departments.  I don't want to hard code the department since I can see this module being re-used by numerous departments.

Is there a video or blog that outlines something similar?  Maybe not the exact situation but something similar?

Thanks,

Mark
