Me too -

it's strange. for me though, it hangs when I try to add a new project. I've run the startup installs for 4.3 and 4.03 (when the former didn't work).

The file itself: DotNetNuke.zip in
documents\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Web Developer\VisualBasic
is the problem, as when I try to "Add New Item" to the site, it works finding the C# and the VB modules fine.

Setup:  I'm running VS2005 Pro on XP with VS2003 also installed (for 1.1 work).

Any help would be appreciated.

I've got the same problem.
And otherwise if I follow the instructions for a clean installation : They say first, unzip the package into C:\DotNetNuke.  Second, create a Virtual Directory in IIS called DotNetNuke
But as I'am running Windows XP home, I don't have IIS. But I do have Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition, which has its internal webserver.

Who can help ?

I have exactly same problem, with vs 2005 pro,   as soon as the dotnetnuke.zip file is inthe templates directory visual studio will hang if you select File/new project.

remove that zip file and up it comes with all the stnadard templates.

i've used the old dot net nuke 3 startkit and not had problems,  i dont follow why this problem occurs,  it doesnt make much sense,  did you find any solution??

Cheers.
