We have a site where we find the need to create a standard (source) page with some basic content in several HTML modules and then create many copies of the page with content so additional content can be added on the copied pages. We are using the Replace Tokens setting on the HTML modules of the source page, but have found that this setting does not carry through to the copied pages. This would not be such a problem if it were only a few pages, but there are many and we are having to change each module setting manually on all new pages. Is there a way to have this setting to carry forward into the copied pages?

Donald,

As long as the content in the "module" is not dynamic, then you can simply export that page as a template.

Rename the template to "Default" as in (Default.page.template -> located \Portals\_default\Templates ) on the server and use it for all new pages.

Once exported & re-named to default you go to Admin -> Page Management  in the page list to the left right click the top page or any sub page and use "ADD Page(s)"

type each page on a new line and you can build a structure here also:

Example:
Cars
>Ford
>>Explorer
>>Fiesta
>Chevy
>>Volt
Toys
>Kids
About US

> = Child page

>> = Childs Page -> sub page

 It should use your template with the tokens for all new pages, if I understand your question, I could be off base.

Hope this helps
