Hello.

I have a working web portal using DNN. This is a university and we are using LDAP for authentication for any web applications/portals, etc. I have several applications developed in .NET that I would like to make into modules and integrate them in my DNN install. They presently all work based on LDAP authentication so the first condition to make this work would be to allow users to authenticate using the existing LDAP server via a module in DNN. I am not part of any domain and I can only query the LDAP via LDAP://...

I would appreciate any advice/solution. If there is any further clarification needed, please ask.

Thank you, Adrian

Which LDAP server are you using?  Obviously not Active directory, or else you'd have a domain.  That might help us help you if we knew that information.  Also, what version of the .net framework are the other applications that you want to use as modules targeting?

Thank you for replying. They are using OpenLDAP.

I guess nobody has any idea on this issue. I was hoping it was just something that more seasoned DNN-ers would be ready to share information on. Thanks anyway. Adrian
