In a DNN 6.2.1 installation I've modified the DarkKnigth Skin at level code to best fit my needs ( search icon, nav menu, ecc, ecc,).

After I've update to 6.2.2 I've lost all my code customization ( Thank to full backup I was able to re-modify in some minutes) 

Now my question is:

Can I ( and especially how??)  create a new skin and call in ex. Custom-DarkKnigth starting from the installed original one?

If you have access to the server then just copy the folder...

Portals/_default/Skins/DarkKnight

If you customize the containers they are in the Containers folder.

Hi Richard,

Coul You elaborate 'just copy the folder' ?

Do you means I can copy Portals/_default/Skins/DarkKnight to Portals/_default/Skins/Custom-DarkKnight make my code customisations and have the new skin ready to be used in my DNN installation?

Yep. Exactly as you say.

After the copy it will show up in the drop down list of skins.
