I have a need for my trusted users to be able to add pictures, video or audio within their comments. How do I enable that?

I also noticed that the dropdown list at Blog/Options/Commenting & Social/Comment Mode has only two options, None and Default, yet the information popup says "Choose one of three modes for commenting." Am I missing some other setting?

I had originally intended on making 3 comments modes but decided later on to only do 2 (for a number of reasons) and I simply forgot to change the text from 3 to 2 (so there is no other mode). As for the images/video/etc in comments, there is nothing in the module that makes this any easier. Users can type a link and paste HTML but there is filtering on the comment text that will strip out object tags.

Dear Chris,

What would it entail to remove or disable (preferable) some or all of the filtering. I realize that under most circumstances one would NOT want to do that but this is a case of a small trusted group of tech savvy individuals with verified logins and known to one another.

PS I just noticed that the text box I am currently typing in allows html, links and other objects. Could I substitute the regular comment box for an editor box like this? Generally, what would that entail?

As an FYI, the filtering won't remove the object tag it but it will render it as text when displaying in the comment.

I passed some info on to Barrett but you have to alter the ViewEntry.ascx to change things.
