Just to verify.  I should check in the Tabs table for a TabName of 'Login'?  Is that the right place to looke?  If so, there is no page named 'Login'. If that's not the right place please point me in the right direction.

Thank you for all your help.

no page named 'Login' in the Tabs table.  Anything else I can try?

this is strange, because if there is no login page, DNN would display login control which doesn't seem to be injected. I am running out of ideas, sorry.

What would you suggest I try next?  Is our only solution to reinstall DNN?  If we do a reinstallation of DNN are we going to lose everything in the database and if so, is there something we can do to restore the content, skins and other settings that are currently in the database. this customer has been working on their site for months. I hate for them to lose everything.

We finally figured this out. The problem had nothing to do with DNN nor with the database. The problem was permissions on the temp folder used by .net in the compiling process. Hopefully this may help someone else save the days we spent on this.
