Hi folks.

i am having running battles with DNNSOFT (producers of catalook)

whenever i attempt to upload an image to the store, i am getting the error message:

SqlDateTime overflow. Must be between 1/1/1753 12:00:00 AM and 12/31/9999 11:59:59 PM.

catalook are saying that it is a problem in the DNN core when we moved to 6.2.1 the field @LastModificationTime was added. Their response is below:

Now they have added the LastModificationTime parameter that is ‘en-US’ formatted by default. If your server uses a different localization this error occurs. Most modules do not display any error that is returned from this proc. Therefore it may be possible that other modules do not display this error messages.

can someone help me on how to fix this? i have some very unhappy end users.

thanks

Its in the procedure dbo.UpdateFile and dbo.AddFile

the colomn in the table it refers to does not allow nulls.

thanks

this is stupid, both methods use datetime data type, which is unformatted. modules should not call data layer directly, but via business layer - in this case DotNetNuke.services.FileSystem.AddFile, which applies current timestamp automatically.

Is this problem ever solved
I've run into the same problem
What is striking is that it only concerns parent portals
The main portal (0) does do well without that error
It looks like this error http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...

Its exact the same warning and also in only parent portals

Hope there is a solution for this problem
