Hi,

I thought I would post some details on how to get the CE DNN6 version to install and work in a FIPS environment.

First I converted all the Md5 code to use SHA1 in the core.  The final piece that kept failing was the install and exited in the ClientDependency core.  To get around this I downloaded the source code for that from CodePlex (http://clientdependency.codeplex.com) and replaced the Md5 code there to also use SHA1.

Build and copy that assembly into your DNN6 website bin.

After the the install ran clean.  I am having some admin skin problems in our FIPS environment but I think they are unrelated.

I will post more info here if I have to make changes to this process.  If you need more info just ask. :-)

Good luck!

Chris
