I don't know if this is a bug or not but before when entering in a new password for the admin while in the host account it would tell me password reset.

Now in the new version when I put the password in and click change it gives me the error you must enter the password. Just like if I don't put anything in the text boxes it gives me the same error.

If i only put text in one of the text boxes it says passwords don't match.

When I did this for the host account it worked properly do I have to be in the admin account to change the password.

I am getting the same error only I am getting this after upgrading from 3.2 to 4.3.
Also, I am getting this error when anyone tries to changed their password. Logged in as admin or host I can't change anyones password.

I did get asked a question during the upgrade that stated I had duplicate users in the users table and if I continued to upgrade there was a possiblility of corruption. Could this be the cause? Everywhere I looked on the internet said that the duplicate user was the admin user from another portal I had setup.

Please Help!

The place to change the password length is in the web.config at

<add name="AspNetSqlMembershipProvider" type="System.Web.Security.SqlMembershipProvider" connectionStringName="SiteSqlServer" enablePasswordRetrieval="true" enablePasswordReset="true" requiresQuestionAndAnswer="false" minRequiredPasswordLength="6" minRequiredNonalphanumericCharacters="0" requiresUniqueEmail="false" passwordFormat="Encrypted" applicationName="DotNetNuke" description="Stores and retrieves membership data from the local Microsoft SQL Server database" />
