I am new to dotnetnuke. I have installed and configured my first dotnetnuke website. However, after a few hours registered user loose the ability to post in the journal, view the members directory, and see any friends. The friends and members directory pages only shows "loading ..." When I login as an Admin or Host the Activity Feed items works like they should, so I am guessing it is a permissions issue. I have both the friends and member directory pages permissions set to "all users". Anyone have a solution?

I made a few changes. I renamed the Member Directory page to All Members, moved the Forum page to be a child of the Activity Feed so it would show in the Activity Feed menu, and edited the css style sheet to remove the mega menu from the top of the page. The website (www.mtpisgah-umc.org) is mostly setup just a few minor html polishes need to be done. Well, besides the Activity Feed issues.

I did check the event logs and there is a general exception being thrown:

I was able to get registered users to be able to post a journal entry, view friends, and the member directory by allowing them edit access on those pages. I can not leave the pages like this but at least I know it more than likely is some wierd permissions issue. I wish the Activity Feed was a seperate module which one could uninstall and reinstall instead of being integrated. I still appreciate any ideas on how to correclty fix the issue.

One new quirk just found, if a registered user clicks on the Members directoy and then another member it takes them to that members journal page. The member can then post as the other member. Also, I modified the some of the user information fields from Admin only to Members only. However, when a registered user tries to view the profile of another user, all the information still shows up hidden with the standard **** blocking the information. I just wish I knew the place to start looking for where the permission information is kept.
