Hi,

I am trying to change the title of the modal pop up and am having some difficulty.

I have an onclick event firing a function that opens the modal dialog like this and attempts to set the title in the next line. This works when the dialog opens but once the content of the page which is being loaded is fully loaded the modal seems to reset the title on me.

dnnModal.show('/add?popUp=true', false, 250, 380, true, '/Default.aspx')
 $("#iPopUp").dialog({ title: 'add something' })

I am loading a page with a single module on it so I though I might try to just hack the title in on document ready with this
$("span.ui-dialog-title").text('add something');

but it does not work

Is there an easier way?

Thank you

Mark

I am surprised that no-one has responded to this question and it's been over 6 months since it's been asked.

I just started using the dnnModal.Show method, and I am using it with an intranet site. We have several websites internally that we use to show users different information. I find it helpful to link to several of them from the Information Technology page on our intranet.

Now that I found the modal show method, I would like to link to these external pages using it, which is working fine. However, the title of the modal popup window is always empty. How can I set the title of the window when the URL that I am linking to is not a page hosted by DNN?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you find a resolution to this issue. I, too, and running into the same problem and would like to change the Title to something other than the path. I've tried a few things, but my JavaScript skills are somewhat lacking.
